With a grandmother who was clairvoyant, Pagyn Alexander grew up in a family where being psychic was well accepted. During her formative years, family members openly discussed dreams, visions, and psychic predictions.

Pagyn's spiritual journey began with a near-death experience at eight followed by the death of her father a week later. These life changing events propelled her into the dream world where she frequently visited with people who were no longer living.

In high school, Pagyn turned to writing poetry as a way to express insights received in dreams. Several of her dream inspired poems have been published in literary magazines and regional poetry anthologies.

While working on her masters in creative writing, she began to explore how dreams are used for healing in other cultures, a subject she continues to research. Recently, her has focused on working with teachers and school administrators to bring dream study into the classroom environment. In this way, students will be able to benefit from using dreams as fuel for creative expression, personal growth, or career exploration.

During the mid 1980's, Pagyn lived in Dayton, Ohio where she had the opportunity to attend numerous workshops taught by Ted Andrews. She has been with Dragonhawk Publishing for over five years and has edited several of Ted's books, including Psychic Protection, Animal-Wise, and Magic of Believing.
